Charles Edward Herring, age 72, of Supply, North Carolina passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Charles was born on September 23, 1951 in Clover, South Carolina to James D. and Mildred Faile Herring.
Charles loved karaoke. One of his favorites to sing was "He Stopped Loving Her Today". He was a member of of the Loyal Order of the Moose and member of Shallotte Moose Lodge No. 710. He loved karaoke so much that he was in charge of and ran that event for the Shallotte Moose Lodge from 2011 until 2016. He also enjoyed drawing and woodworking, specifically cabinetry. When he was able to cruising and fishing also claimed his heart.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda; his mother, Mildred Faile Herring; his four siblings, two brothers and two sisters; five children; several grandchildren and a whole host of friends and extended family.
He was preceded in passing by his father, James D. Herring and three brothers.
A service of remembrance will be held on December 30th, 2023 at 2PM at Shallotte Moose Lodge in Shallotte, North Carolina.
