In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ester L. Sanford; brothers, George Sanford, Walter Sanford, and Mervin Sanford.
Clyde is survived by his sons, William Sanford and Jeffrey Thomas;daughters, Glenda Lowe, Linda Flowers, and Angela Pridgen; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home in Supply from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A service for Mr. Sanford will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home in Supply at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Brunswick Memorial Cemetery.
