David Michael Knowles, 41 of Bolivia, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Knowles was born in Flynt, Michigan, on October 22, 1979 and was the son of Jack Knowles of Arkansas and Melody Knowles of Bolivia, NC.

David was a lover of nature, being outdoors, and he enjoyed camping, kayaking, hiking and biking. He loved art, music, attending music festivals and was willing to learn. He loved being with other people, never met a stranger and was eager to unselfishly help others. He loved his children dearly.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his children, Elijah Michael Knowles of Bolivia, Alexander Kelly Knowles of Virginia, Aryeanna Holcomb of Tennessee; maternal grandmother, Edna Fowler of Bolivia; uncle, David Fowler of Winnabow; dear friend, Kenneth Haggerman of Michigan; special friends, Shawna Murray, Josh Durrett, Carley Macaluso; numerous cousins and extended family.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at three o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway E, Bolivia with Rev. Anthony Clemmons officiating. You may view the service via Facebook Live. Go to White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply Facebook page, like the page, and the livestream will begin at 2:55pm.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

So heart broken beautiful life taken to soon. He had a big heart always showed us respect. Was well mannered by saying yes ma'am & yes sire. He loved spending time with his children, hold those memory's in your heart going fishing and going to the creek just having fun.
