Donald C Nobles

Donald Curtis Nobles, 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday evening, July 30, 2012. Donald is the son of the late Alvin and Mannie Nobles. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Ingrid Nobles, 2 daughters; Rose Notaro (Carmine), Angelina Dominguez, one son; Mark Nobles, grand children; Lisa (Keith) Mangino, Kristina Notaro, and Carmine Notaro II, Jennifer Nobles, Michele and Mercedes Dominguez, 6 great grandchildren, (another on the way).

Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served several years in Germany where he met his lovely bride. He retired from the Railroad after many years of service as an equipment maintenance supervisor. Wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Donald will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2012, at Coble Ward-Smith, Supply Chapel. Inurnment at the Gowan Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, will occur at a later time. At Donald’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Paws Place Animal Shelter, Boiling Springs, NC.
