Scott was born on February 5, 1963 in Mobile, Alabama, son of the late Donald and Becky Willetts. He was the owner and Captain of the fishing vessel “Reality". Previously captaining several other boats in his 20 plus years commercial fishing.
A jack of many trades and master of a few; Scott was a farmer, fisherman, plumber, a mechanic of all engines, but most importantly a phenomenal grandfather.
He is survived by his two children, Brandon Willetts and Holly Willetts; two grandchildren, Maddison Willetts and Booker Gordon; and a brother, Jonathan Perry Willetts.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with Rev. Anthony Clemmons officiating, at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Winnabow.
