Elizabeth Carol “Libby” Evans, age 77 of Supply, NC passed away on Thursday the twenty eighth of June, 2018 in the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Brunswick House. Libby was born in Supply, NC on the sixth of January 1941 to the late Wilson Fitzhugh and Carrie M. Holden Lovett. She was a lifelong resident in the Supply and Holden Beach communities and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Herbert Evans, a son, Herbert Trent “Bubble” Evans and a granddaughter Julia Carol “Scooter” Evans. Surviving are her children, Herbert E. “Pippy” Evans and wife Tonya Walton Evans of Winnabow, NC, Teresea E. Taylor of Supply, Elizabeth E. “Angie” Robinson and husband John Perry Robinson of Supply; a sister, Nellie L. Wilson of Ash, NC; two grandchildren, Raymond Thompson and wife Ami, Hunter Austin Evans and a great granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Thompson. Funeral services will be two thirty in the afternoon on Sunday the first of July 2018 in the White Funeral & Cremation Service, Bolivia/Supply Chapel with The Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. You are cordially invited to a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home and from other times at the home of Pippy and Tonya Evans at 5530 Ocean Highway, East Winnabow, NC 28472. Active Pallbearers will be Eric Evans, John Perry Robinson, Andrew Walton, Randy Earl Hewett, Raymond Thompson and Robert “Boogie” Robinson, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Robinson, Sr. and Dewey Lovett. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that monetary donations be made in her name to the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice at 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422. She was a Wonderful Mother, Sister, Aunt, Friend any could ask for!! She treated everyone like they were Family!! She was also a strong Woman!! She had to endure some Heartaches in Life!! The loss of a Beloved Son, then her Husband and her Granddaughter!! I don't know if I could do it!! And she was a young woman!! She raised 3 Wonderful children by herself and her Grand children!! And any body that needed her she would always lend a helping hand to whoever needed!! We will miss her!! But she is with her loved ones now!! Forever in our Hearts We Love you Aunt Libby!!! Buck, Stephanie and Mitchell!!! Guys you will still be in our Prayers!! We love you too!!!

I have so many wonderful memories growing up & spending time at Libby’s house. She always made you free welcome & called you family. She treated me like one of her children. She had so much generosity. She’s gave so freely and ask nothing in return. Libby was a one of a kind & will be missed by many.
