Elizabeth F Phillips

Mrs. Phillips was born in Southport, NC on October 31, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Hulon and Nellie Flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Johnnie Lee “JL” Phillips, and “brother,” Arthur Benton.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her three sons, Michael Phillips and wife, Avis, of Bolivia, Kent Phillips and wife, Mary, of Bolivia, and Brent Phillips and wife, Renee, of Ash; two grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips of Bolivia and Clint Phillips and wife, McKenna, of Bolivia; one future great grandson due in July 2018; four step grandchildren: Chris, Amanda, Brandon, and Colton; several nieces and nephews; and special dear lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Bolivia.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the White Funeral Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Hwy E, Bolivia, NC with the Reverend Jack Edge officiating.

Interment will follow in the Phillips Family Cemetery.

Oneil Rivenbark, Jerry Rivenbark, and Tim Rivenbark will serve at honorary pallbearers.

Greg McDowell, Randy Hewett, Allan McDowell, Bobby Champion, Chris Jordan, and Wendol Moore will serve as pallbearers.
