

Andy (Endwell) was born in Oneonta, New York to Bruce and Vadna Buell on July 30, 1931. He graduated from Gilboa/Conesville Central School, then graduated from college with a master’s degree in Education from SUNY - Oneonta. He worked as a Guidance Counselor for the Arlington School District for 27 years. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the Army being awarded the Good Conduct and National Defense Service medals. He was involved in the Masonic Lodge receiving his 33rd degree and was Master of Shekomeko Lodge in Pleasant Valley, NY. Additionally, he was involved with Shriners, the Antique Auto Club of America, SAR and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pleasant Valley, NY and Port Charlotte, FL.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Keith Buell.
Andy is survived by his son Jim Buell and daughter-in-law Sally, daughter Nancy Koopman along with grandchildren; Kara Buell, Daniel Koopman and Kailey Koopman in addition to several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held this summer at the First Presbyterian Church of Pleasant Valley in New York, at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at the Gilboa Cemetery on August 16, 2024 at 11:00AM.
