Faye Phelps Dickerson

Faye was born November 3, 1941 in Brunswick County and was the daughter of the late Elbert C. and Gertrude Fulford Phelps. She was also preceded in death by a brother in-law, Buster Dickerson and two sisters-in-law, Kay Ellen Evans and Juanita Drake. In her younger years she loved playing golf. She was retired Assistant Register of Deeds of Brunswick County. She was a devoted mother and loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Felicia Walker and husband Jerome of Supply, Keith Dickerson and dear friend Tonya of Supply; five grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Ethan, Fallon, Caleb; two great grandchildren, Wriston and Laeland; a sister, Shelby Simmons and husband Rudolph of Supply; two special sister in-laws, Barbara Phelps and Ellen Dickerson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 28th, 2015 at 3pm at the White Funeral Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway, Supply. Burial will follow in the Silent Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tom Johnson, Craig Dickerson, Craven Hewett, Cory Dickerson, Anthony Hewett, and Brian Hewett.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon beginning at 1pm until the time of the service and other times at the home of her daughter, Felicia and Jerome Walker.
