Forrest has held many roles in our church family. Leader, teacher, role model, and encourager to all. I consider myself fortunate to have had him as my Christian brother.

There was no one else in the world like Forrest Whitley. His faith in God, his smile, his love, his laughter, were never-ending. He made you feel like you were one of the most precious gifts and never judged you. He is a treasured friend, brother, father, son, husband, and grandfather who will be sorely missed by all. While we are glad to know he is now with Christ our Savior, it's those of us left here on earth who will miss him everyday.

Brother Forrest was a very dear friend to me. I always went to him for guidance because he would always tell me what he thought, not what I wanted to hear. I loved him like a brother and my life has been much richer to have had him in it. Now Forrest is in the "Presence of God". How awesome and wonderful that must be. RIP Brother Forrest.
