Born in Washington, DC on the nineteenth of June 1936, he was a son of the late Frank Ervin and Ruby Mae Jeter Bledsoe. He was retired from the US Department of Defense.
Surviving are a son, David L. Bledsoe, Sr. and wife Diane Michele “Shelly” of Waldorf, MD and other extended family and friends.
