Mrs. McKeithan was born on April 13, 1954, daughter of the late Ben Taft Price and Marguerite Millis Price. She retired from Walmart after 31 years, having worked at the Market Street store in Wilmington, and most recently at the store in Leland. Janice enjoyed going to tractor auctions in Goldsboro and Lumberton. She was known for her large collection of anything with a dolphin on it.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank McKeithan; a daughter, Lori McKeithan; a niece, Jennifer Lopez; her pride and joy, her cat, Max; her two dogs, Pepper and Mandy; her cat, Whitey; and many special friends that she considered family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Batson.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in the White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Hayes officiating. The family will have visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mercer Cemetery off Midway Road in Bolivia.
