Linda Jane Bowling

Mrs. Bowling was born in Brunswick Co. on April 6, 1945 and was daughter of the late Lee and Alberta Robert Spencer. She was a front end manager at the Walmart of Shallotte. She was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Bowling, three children, Dean Bowling of Bolivia, Ben Bowling of Winnabow and Tamara Bowling of Bolivia; grandchildren, Jillian, Mason, Kaleb, Kris, Eric, Brittany, Jacob, Jessica, Shelby, Noah and Michael; great-grandchildren, Evan, C.J., Sydnee, Payton, Ashlynn, Ethan, Grace, Colbi and Wesley; two brothers, Sammy Spencer of S.C. and James Spencer of Bolivia.

Funeral services will be Saturday November 5, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service 603 Ocean Hwy. E. Bolivia, N.C. 28422 with the Reverend Charlie Pittman officiating. An interment service will follow in the Bowling Cemetery.

Friends are cordially invited to a time of visitation with the family on Friday evening November 4, 2016 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock.

Mrs. Bowling’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
