Linda Diane Hewett

Linda was born February 14, 1951 in Statesville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Robert Kennedy and Sarah Prevatte Kennedy. She was a member of Shell Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Joseph Widmer and brother Pete Kennedy.

Survivors include her children, Henry Widmer or Statesville, Ella Cook of Wilmington, and Benjamin Widmer of Newton; two brothers, Timmy Kennedy of Dunn and Joe Kennedy of Dunn; sisters, Bobbie Kennedy of Dunn, Susan Kennedy of Dunn, and Wanda Henderson of Statesville; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Jessica, Tessa, Courtney, Jacob, Mariah, and Caleb; and one great grandchild, Aubree.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
