

Ms. Ward was born in New Hanover County on December 4, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Lonnie Whitfield Jordan and Elma Mintz Jordan. She was preceded in death by her first husband Curtis Elwood Sullivan. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Brunswick County Schools. Ms. Ward was a member of Peace Memorial Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed going to yard sales.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Ward of the home; three sons, Kevin Sullivan and wife Meredith of Supply, Johnny Sullivan and wife Belinda of Tabor City and William Sullivan and wife Laura of Supply; grandchildren, William Parker Sullivan, William Cooper Sullivan, Tabatha Lee, Brook Sullivan and Brian Sullivan; great grandchildren, Kayden Lee, Liberty Lee, Isabella Sanderson, Dyani Sanderson and Oakley Sanderson; a sister, Louise Canady of Wilmington; a brother, Billy Ray Jordan of Maco.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday March 26, 2025 at two o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia Chapel with Reverend Rory Thigpen officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
