Michael was born on February 5, 1949 and was son of the late James and Maggie Helms Wright. Michael was a retired truck driver and enjoyed watching western movies on TV. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Michael is survived by his wife, Shirley Wright, of Supply, NC; son, Chris Morgan, of Supply, NC; sister, Mary Alice Putt, of Mooresville, NC.
A private service in Mooresville, NC will be held at a later date.
