Navayah was born in Wilmington, N.C. on April 7, 2026 and was the daughter of Rashaud Thompson and Jessica Carter. In addition to her parents she is survived by five brothers, Kamden Carter, Isaiah Carter, Gabriel Carter, Asin Thompson and Amara Thompson; a sister, Alayah Thomson; grandparents, Jacqueline Carter of Wilmington, Michael Thompson of Wilmington and Mary Ann Barrett of New Jersey.
Graveside services will be held on Friday August 21, 2026at eleven o'clock in the morning at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington.
