

Nicholas John Pokoluk, 48, of Shallotte, NC, passed away on February 17, 2024. Nicholas, fondly known as Nick, was a big man who made a big impact, in his much too short life. He was a talented athlete who spent his college years playing Division I football, at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. Nick loved playing football and formed a strong brotherhood with fellow teammates. That brotherhood has stood the test of time.
Nick worked in pharmaceutical sales before joining Personify as its fifth employee. Nick rose through the ranks, working in a variety of global leadership roles, and in 2013, he was named a partner in the firm, He played a critical role in the development of hundreds of teammates and clients across North America and Europe. A servant leader to the teams he led, Nick was known for his tireless work ethic, deep care for others, and unwavering loyalty to the people he served. Nick saw the best in everyone and made a profound impact on thousands of lives.
While Nick was a man of great accomplishments, there was no bigger accomplishment than being a father. He loved playing games and watching football with his buddy, Ella Rose. Ella was his red-headed twin, and the apple of his eye. Nick could often be heard yelling "monka, monka monk" at his special little monkey, Lily Grace. They had a bond and an understanding that needed no words. Both girls so deeply loved their Dad.
Nick is survived by his beautiful daughters, Ella Rose and Lily Grace, and their loving mother, Lisa. Nick is also survived by his adoring parents, Nicholas and Marianne, and his devoted sister, Megan (Karl) Metzelaar. Nick was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, John and Ann Marie Earley.
