Born in Flint, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Alfonso and Mabel Easter Abbott Marx. She was retired from the Michigan Bell Telephone Company and more recently she worked for several years as a unit secretary at the Brunswick Community Hospital. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, George W. Milligan, two brothers, Jim Marx and Bob Marx.
Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Strutski of Bolivia, NC, Kathy Fairchild of Little River, SC, Cheryl Johnson and husband Steve of Oscoda, MI; a brother, Ted Marx, Jr., of Flint, MI; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and her canine companion, “Mickey-Bear”.
