

Paul Grey Robinson, 72 of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away after a very brief illness on the morning of Friday the twenty first of April, 2017 in the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice “Brunswick House”, Bolivia, NC.
Paul was born in Tallahassee, Florida on the sixteenth of May, 1944 and soon after high school and college, he joined and was very proud of being a US Marine Corps veteran and having served in Vietnam. Then began an distinguished career with the Associated Press that spanned an incredible forty years. After his retirement and moving to Brunswick County he started working at the Ocean Isle Beach Pier to be close to his passion, fishing that he loved so much.
He is survived by his significant other and childhood sweetheart, Bobbie McWilliams Lambert; a son, Paul G. “Robbie” Robinson, Jr., of Valdosta, GA; a daughter, Jonell Crosby of Valdosta, GA; a sister, Barbara Moore and husband Juan of Merritt Island, FL; five grandchildren, Danyelle, Blake, Nash, Sarah, Gavin Paul; four great-grandchildren, Arayah, Maddox, Brett, Jenson and his canine companion, “Princess”
