Phillip came to my house once to show me the largest beaver he had ever trapped. That's the kind of outdoorsman he was. We met in art class in high school, and surfed together many, many times over the years. He was a good friend and loved to laugh and be outdoors doing anything and everything. I feel like I have lost a brother. Smooth sailing, my friend.

Beverly and family,
I am so very sorry Philip has left. The last thing he told me before he left work on Friday was "if you get in a situation where you need a ride home, call me. " I thought that was so nice. He is going to be greatly missed. He was one in a million. Thanks for sharing him with us.

I will remember Phillip, as a tall, slim guy, with long hair and piercing eyes .I will remember him on Dawn Patrol on Sunday mornings ..I so enjoyed watching Phillip, and lots of other local guys surfing off of the pier..I'd like to think ,that there are white sandy beaches in heaven ,with heavy waves and all who have gone on before him are standing there to greet him.
To his wife Beverly and family my heart goes out to you all ♡
Love
