Richard George Sweet, age 72, of Supply, North Carolina, formerly of Enfield, Connecticut, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Richard was born June 22, 1949 to the late George and Elaine Sweet.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Richard's hobbies were music and watching movies. He enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Jeannine Sweet; sons, Richard Sweet, Jr. and Brian Sweet; stepson, Kyle Morris; step-daughter, Renee Huynh (Thuan); brother in-law and sister in-law, Kevin Janicke and Rosemary; grandchildren, Alec, Trent and Victoria; step grandchildren, Benjamin and Nathan.
At Richard's request, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
