Roger Wayne Buck

Roger Wayne Buck, age 73, of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 30, 1949 the son of the late Wayne Buck and Jeanette Thompson Buck. Roger graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, he met his wife, Linda of forty-one years in Greensburg, Kentucky. He was affiliated with KMart in Gallipolis, Ohio after thirty-five years of service. He enjoyed playing golf and loved his Los Angeles Dodgers. He enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends. After Roger retired he and his wife, Linda moved to Ocean Ridge Plantation and was a member of the men's golf league. Surviving are his wife, Linda Diane Buck of the home; three children, Missy(Brian) Roush of Gallipolis, Ohio, Jerry Winders of Newport Kentucky and Mechelle Painter of Bidwell, Ohio; six grandchildren, Christopher (Kari) Roush and Travis Roush of Gallipolis, Ohio, Nichole Higginbotham, Hannah Painter, Johnathan Painter and Nick Painter all of Bidwell, Ohio; thirteen great-grandchildren.
