Sandra Sandy H. Harris Stevens

Mrs. Sandra Lee Harris Stevens, age 63, of Supply, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31st 2010. She was born the daughter of the late, David M. Harris and Ila Mae Hair Harris on March 27th 1947 in Lumberton, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sandy will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra Faye Stevens and a sister, Linda Kay Harris.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 years, Jimmy Ray Stevens of the home; three sons, Jimmy Stevens, II and his fiancé, Melissa Garner of Winnabow, George Stevens and his wife, Cindy of Maple Hill, and David Stevens and his wife, Jessie of Supply; a daughter, Linda Kay McCauley and her husband, Don of Supply; two Brothers, David Earl Harris of St. Paul’s and Daryl Harris of Leland, and six grandchildren, Jessica, Anastasia, Allie Rae, Danna, Chris and Brittany. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 5th 2010 at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home – Supply Chapel, with the Rev. Bobby Norton officiating. Interment will follow at the Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
