Shelby Troutt Blalock, 76. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away Thursday, February 5th, 2015 at her home in Sunset Harbor, NC. Shelby was born in Winston-Salem, NC in 1938 to George Troutt and Alvia Troutt, whom she was predeceased by. She is survived by her granddaughter Jessica Blalock of Wilmington, NC and grandson Matthew Blalock of Winston-Salem, NC. She is predeceased by her husband, Lee Roy Blalock, Jr. and her son, Dennis Blalock.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 8th 2015 in Sunset Harbor at the Sunset Harbor First Baptist Church, 3867 Sunset Harbor Road, Bolivia, NC 28422, a 1:30 viewing followed by a 3:00 funeral service. A graveside Service to follow on Monday, February 9th 2015 at 2pm in Walkertown, NC at Gardens of Memory, 5676 Old Walkertown Road, Walkertown, NC 27051.
