Shirley Huffstetler

Shirley retired from Western Auto as an office assistant and for years had a catering side hustle where she enjoyed helping couples make their weddings memorable while living in Gastonia. Upon moving to Supply, Shirley continued her administrative duties with the Women of the Church at Sharon Methodist Church. Shirley and her husband Bob always led youth at Olney Presbyterian (Gastonia) and Sharon Methodist (Supply) churches. Both, Shirley and Bob were always willing to help out anywhere they could. Shirley has touched a lot of peoples lives across many generations. Shirley and Bob enjoyed traveling and attending sporting events.

She is survived by her sister Betty Ruth Gates, her two children Kim Duncan and Neal Duncan (wife Wendy) along with three grandchildren Amanda Moore (husband Dustin), Lauren Greene (husband Chad) and Justin Duncan (wife Emily) along with five great grandchildren which she cherished Kaydin and Avery Moore; Grayson, Parker and Emory Greene. Shirley is also survived by stepson Doug Huffstetler (wife Becky), grandson Jason (wife Kristen) and great grandson Luke.

A casual Celebration of Life service will be at Sharon Methodist Church in Supply, NC on Saturday, September 23rd at one o'clock in the afternoon.
