Shirley Wright

She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie A. Ramsey, mother Annie "Tee" Jackson, brother Gene Ramsey and sister Louise Stewart. She lost the love of her life, spouse Michael Wright, September 9, 2025.

Shirley is survived by brother Eddie Ramsey Jr., sister Geraldine "Gerry" Teague as well as a son Christopher Morgan and daughter Penny Smith.

Shirley spent the last 25 years working and playing along the Holden Beach / Lockwood Folly areas. Her summers were spent scooping ice cream, running the mini-golf and cleaning homes. Folding sheets for the rental properties and cleaning houses was her enjoyment for the last few years. Never one to sit still, Shirley will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She did not want a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
