Thomas "Squeaky" Wood Howard

Squeaky was born in Poston, SC on January 1, 1937 and was son of the late John Wesley Howard, Sr. and Narcie Duncan Howard. He was a retired boilermaker and was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church of Bolivia,NC where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oree Howard.

He is survived by sons, Timmy Howard and wife, Fay, of Bolivia, NC and Danny Ray Howard of Tampa, FL; daughter, Debby Adkins of Bolivia, NC; grandsons, Matthew Adkins and Joshua Howard; great-granddaughter, Kathrine Adkins and husband, Christopher; great-grandson, Reid Abbott; very special friend, Naconiel Fullwood; and his Faith Baptist Church family.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Faith Baptist Church in Bolivia with Rev. Clayton Rivenbark and Rev. Naconiel Fullwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth “Porky” White, Tommy Batten, Tony Butler, Gabriel Whitby, Chris Abbott and Brian Raleigh.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday evening from six to eight p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be directed to the Faith Baptist Church Western North Carolina Relief Fund at PO Box 55, Bolivia, NC 28422.
