Timothy Michael Vernon, age 29, of Ocean Isle Beach died December 13, 2016. Timothy was born in Brunswick County on March 4, 1987 and was the son of Jerry R. Vernon, Jr. and Wendy Latta Vernon of Walhalla, S.C.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a daughter Kaylie Lynn Vernon of Gastonia, two brothers, Jerry R. Vernon, III of Shallotte and Anthony Quinn of Ash, a sister Larmie Sue Vernon of Walhalla, S.C., a fiancé, Kaysy Smith, a grandmother, Hilda Ann Latta of West Union, S.C., a grandfather Jerry R. Vernon, Sr. of Thomasville, N.C. and an uncle, Martin G. Latta, Jr. of West Union, S.C.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday January 14, 2017 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the Beach Assembly of God 6730 Ocean Hwy. W. Ocean Isle Beach with Pastor John Chase officiating.
