William "Bill" R. Brown Jr.

William "Bill" R. Brown Jr., age 69, of Supply, North Carolina went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in Brunswick County on July 1, 1953 the son of the late William R. Brown, Sr. and Darnell Clemmons Brown. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Perry A. Brown and Gerald L. Brown. Bill was a very faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He loved his church and greatly missed not being able to attend due to his declining health in the latter years. He was a painter by trade for many years, but his lifelong passion was farming. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Surviving are his sisters, Linda McDonald and husband, Gary of Supply and Sonya Thomas and husband, John of Wilmington; a sister-in-law, Janie Brown of Holden Beach; nephews and nieces, Patrick McDonald (Kendra), Zachary Potter, Stacey Greer (Travis) all of Supply and Jessi Potter of Shallotte; great-nephews and great-nieces, Gabriel McDonald, Landon Greer, Alexis McDonald and Macy Greer all of Supply; two aunts, Frances Brown and Joyce Brown also of Supply; many cousins, a special friend, Donald Pike and wife, Nan of Staley, NC and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 am Saturday August 6, 2022 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Mooney officiating. Burial will follow in the Holden Cemetery. There will be time of visitation one hour prior at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick McDonald, Travis Greer, Zachary Potter, Scott Brown, Charles Brown, Steve Brown, Larry Sellers, and Michael Brown.
