Ronnie was born in Wilmington, NC on the twenty-second of March 1954 to the late William Rockwell and Mildred Long Holmes. He was a logger for many years; he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his loving wife, June Lowery Holmes, of the home; two daughters; four grandchildren, and a special uncle, Richard Long.
Services will be held from the graveside at one o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday the twenty-second of March 2017 in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte, NC, with the reverend Landis Lancaster officiating.
