Alfonsina C. San Nicolas

Alfonsina “Tina” San Nicolas was a beloved grandmother, mother, and wife during her incredible 77 years of life - a mother to 8, grandmother to 9, and great grandmother to 5. She passed away in the early hours of Saturday, November 12, 2022. Tina will be remembered for her helping nature, endearing stubbornness, and religious sense. She was a proud mother and grandmother - she made it known that one of her greatest achievements was her family. She loved us all so hard, so differently, and without any hesitation. She cared for all her family and more. She always took in anyone in need and accepted them as they were and considered them family. Tina was well immersed in the Chamorro community and the Catholic Church. Teaching us about our culture and the Catholic religion was very important to her. She taught us through food, songs, and prayer. She will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation for Alfonsina will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Magnolia Room at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California 91902. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Mary's Catholic Church, 426 E. 7th Street, National City, California 91950. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California 91902.
