He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dionie Guerrero, his three children, Melissa, Carol and Eric, four grandchildren, Ryan and fiancée Briana, Grace, Alexa, Sabrina, his two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kaden and his son-in-laws Joe and Ramil.
Alfredo was born on January 6, 1938 in Guimba, Nueva Elijah, Philippines. He joined the US Navy in 1961 and married Dionie Guerrero in 1965.
In 1968, Alfredo brought his wife and two daughters to join him where he was stationed at Little Creek Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Virginia.
After ten years, Alfredo and his family moved to San Diego, California where he retired in 1981 as a Petty Officer Mess Specialist.
Alfredo loved to cook. His flair for creating unique dishes at family dinners and get-togethers showed how he was passionate about cooking.
Alfredo is remembered as a loving, kind and generous soul who encouraged his children and grandchildren to pursue their goals, to be happy and to live life to the fullest.
