June 23, 1949 – September 3, 2026
With deep love and gratitude, we remember and celebrate the life of Licha, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose faith, generosity, laughter, and joyful spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born in Mexico, Licha spent most of her life there. She married her beloved husband, Roberto, on October 14, 1972, and together they built a loving family and raised two children. In 2006, she moved to the United States, beginning a new chapter of her life close to her family. Over the years, she was blessed with six grandchildren, who became some of the greatest joys of her life.
Her love for God and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe guided her throughout her life. She generously served her church community in Tecate Mexico, often sharing one of her greatest gifts—cooking for parish celebrations and family gathering. She lived her faith quietly through kindness, humility, and service to others.
Above all, Licha lived for her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and was happiest when everyone was together. She loved cooking, traveling, camping, dancing, listening to boleros, sharing a cafecito and a good conversation, and finding reasons to celebrate life. Her laughter and warmth made even the simplest moments special.
Licha is survived by her beloved husband, Roberto; her children and grandchildren; her younger sister and brother; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, who will carry her memory and love with them always.
With grateful hearts, we honor the beautiful life she shared with us and the legacy of faith, love, family, service, and joy she leaves behind.
Rest in peace, Licha, in the loving presence of God, reunited with your mom, your dad, siblings and all those you loved who went before you. Thank you for loving us so deeply and for giving us so much of yourself. Until we meet again, you will live forever in our hearts. 🤍🕊️
