The hardest thing to do is to say goodbye to my sweet loving niece Carina, who God had taken from us so unexpectedly in life. We will always remember her beautiful smile, her kindness, generosity and caring attitude to everyone.  We will forever be grateful too for taking good care of our house whenever we go on vacation, no matter how long or short we were gone. We will truly miss you so much, Carina , but you are in peace and in the good hands of the Lord now.  Be happy in your new life and till  we meet again, we will always love you. 

Ana and I became friend when his son and my grandson were schoolmates at the Gospel light Christian Academy in the Philippines.  Our friendship was so precious, wonderful and genuine.  She was a very honest and concerned friend. Altho I  am much older than her I always took her pieces of advice wholeheartedly.  Then by God's amazing grace both of us were able to migrate..she in the US and me here in Canada. Our friendship remained strong. One thing I will miss from her were her surprise calls.. with the salutation" Ate Arlene si Ana Ito..kumusta ka na "followed by her  laughter. Ana my dear you will surely be missed. . feeling  sad because you are gone but joyful because you are now with our God in heaven where there will be happiness forever. Praying for God's peace and love for your children.

I met Ana at the Jesus is Lord Church in 2008. I will not forget her humble and soft spoken attitude. I maintained my relationship with her although we attend different church organizations.  Being a widowed mom, she worked so hard to raise her children.  I was her Music Director for four years at JILC— she was so submissive and no trace of pride.  She accepted the challenge to learn the keyword, when I offered to train her. Ana had a very beautiful voice too!

When my mom passed away in 2015, she left a lot of unused personal belongings. I thought of Ana as they have the same size. I was hesitant to offer to Ana but surprisingly she accepted my mom’s staff.   Ana is not hard to please .

I am inspired by Ana ‘s gentle spirit.  Till we meet again Ana... in heaven! Enjoy God ‘s presence.   Sis Liz
