Sadden by the news that coach Jeremiah has passed. I played for coach at MCHS tennis btwn '91 - '95 and learned tremendous life lessons. A wonderful soul, a great coach and a woman who truly made this world a better place.

I have many memories of Andrea. First, after we moved in next door, she would assure me (then a 6th grader) her doberman Rock might sound vicious but that he was a big baby. Over time, she and my mom became close friends. There were some entertaining stories of "lunch bunch" dates. Then, as my brother and Michael played baseball, both my mom and Andrea took coaching classes at Southwestern College so they could be better scorekeepers and team assistants. Andrea's place in my heart was cemented at my bridal shower, when Andrea recorded the first thing I said as I opened each gift, then proceeded to read them aloud as "what Laura will say on her wedding night" - boy did I blush! A few years later Andrea hosted my 1st baby shower, and then the day after I came home with my 2nd son, there she was, on a ladder in my kitchen stenciling hearts and checks on the ceiling with my mom. I got to know Andrea this way as an adult, even having the privilege of attending a painting class with mom and Andrea where they coached me in stippling a bear Christmas tree topper. After mom moved to New England, Andrea made several trips to paint with mom on Cape Cod. My mom and Andrea had several adventures and the stories of their escapades are entertaining. I can never express my gratitude that one of her trips coincided with the loss of my grandmother - Andrea was able to provide strength and support for my parents just as my mom had for her when her mom died. Andrea was a strong, kind and generous woman whom I will continue to strive to emulate. I am comforted imagining the loving hands and paws that welcomed her into heaven. My sincerest condolences to you Jerry, Susan and Michael as well as all of her family. I will continue to keep you in my heart and in my prayers.

What a brave and courageous lady!  She gave all she had to research for a cancer cure and fought it for 4+yrs.   I'm sure angels carried her to our Lord!

I share your pain, Jerry, Michael(& Ginny),and Susan (& sons) in missing your wife, mother and grandmother--& my friend.  I miss that beautiful lady!  She truly has a friend in Jesus!!  God Bless!

As soon as Michael introduced me to Andrea, I was so relieved to see how kind and easygoing she was.  She spent a week in Virginia visiting Michael and I'm glad we started out so well and only continued to grow closer.  Andrea treated me as though I was another daughter and she knew how much I appreciated her for being so open to me.  The love she showed me from the beginning is always the first thing I think of when I talk about her.  It is clearly what she showed so many others as well. She seemed to have the ability for each person to feel uniquely loved by her.  
Andrea was not only generous in her love, but also in giving of her time to anyone she thought may need it.  If it was time to make something she thought someone could use or just time to talk if you needed, she would just do it and not wait for you to ask.  She would listen to people intently and offer whatever she thought someone would need or want. 
Even though my heart is broken to not have her physically with us anymore, I see her character in Michael and Susan and take comfort in part of her always being with us.  I believe her character will not only show in her children, but in everyone she loved and was loved by her in return.  I think we all have a little of Andrea with us and we are better people because of that.

Andrea you will be missed, I will really  miss seeing you at the Christmas Party. God Bless you and your Family.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

All of those baseballs, soccer balls, and football's you endured coming over your fence from a little blond headed boy! I remember being taken care of by her even after the move, and being able to pick oranges and swimming at the pool. Michael, Susan, and Jerry, I was glad to see, talk to, and pray over your awesome mom and wife Andrea. My wife Linda, son Justus, and I will be praying for you all.

Condolences to Susan and family. Andrea will truly be missed. I feel blessed to have known your mom all these years. She is a great tennis player, skill full competitor, courteous on the courts.  A Very Classy Woman. Please know she may not be here in person, but she will always remain in the hearts of the many people she met. God Bless.

Andrea, my friend, I miss you already.  We had many wonderful memories sharing rescue stories of our beloved Keeshonds.  We laughed & cried over many things the past 15 years.  I just want to pick up the phone & call my friend.  You will always be near in my heart & memories.  Peace & blessings to your family.

Our deepest condolences at the loss of another wonderful mom to Ovarian Cancer. We will never forget Andrea and her sweet loving care she took of Chris and Patrick, or the many years of her keeping score at Little League. We will see you Thursday.

Christmas in Europe. Lost in NYC at midnight.  Shopping in Maine. Hours of painting.  Earning our CA coaching certification.  Lunch Bunch meetings.  Sharing laughter and sorrow.  Forty years of a wonderful friendship.  My heart will remember, and always miss you.  I am thankful to have spent your remaining days with you, and your family. . .you were an angel among us.
