Andrew Wojtkowski

Andrew “Andy” Richard Wojtkowski was born on December 10, 1968 in Garden Grove, California to Robert Wojtkowski (dec) and Dolores Wojtkowski-Harritt. After a courageous battle with COVID related medical issues, Andy passed on the morning of July 18, 2020.

Andy was raised in Poway, California and graduated from Poway High School. After graduation, he began a long and industrious career in construction. He enjoyed working with his hands and the people he met working jobs over the years. During this time, Andy married and was blessed with the birth of his son, Robert, in 1996. One of Andy’s greatest joys was being a father. He was proud of Robert and enjoyed every moment they shared together. Whether it was their favorite Father’s Day dish or a paint gun competition, Andy loved and appreciated his time with Robert.

While life provided him with many challenges over the years, Andy persevered and conquered those challenges. He was proud of his success in doing so and chose to live life to the fullest. He loved dancing with his many friends and loved belting out a good song. He was always positive, always joyful and quick on his feet with a beaming smile. In addition to dancing, he loved fishing with his buddy Ronnie and snowboarding with his friend, Ken. He adored his mom and cherished spending time with her and her husband, Brent.

In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Angela, traveling to numerous National Parks and road-tripping across the states. Andy enjoyed the pure beauty of nature and being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and a seasoned hiker. They thoroughly enjoyed time spent together and the love they shared was evident.

Andy was such a positive, warm individual with infectious laugh. He was a loving father, son and life partner. To all who were blessed to know him, he was pure-hearted, generous and an amazingly caring person. His passion and zest for life has left an impression on all the lives he touched.

Andy is survived by his son, Robert Wojtkowski, his mother, Dolores Wojtkowski-Harritt and his girlfriend, Angela Looney. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Susan Johnson, his brother, David Wojtkowski, his stepfather Brent Harritt and numerous nieces and nephews.
