

Tony Esquivel, 79, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. While his passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his legacy of love, laughter, strength, and sense of humor will live on forever.
He was the heart and glue of our family. He had an incredible sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day and a loving spirit that made everyone feel welcome. He was a devoted father, loyal husband, proud brother, devoted uncle and cousin, loving grandfather, and a cherished great-grandfather whose love and guidance will never be forgotten.
Tony dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a probation officer for 34 years, before retiring. He took pride in his work and in the difference he made throughout his career.
He is survived by his two loving daughters, Leticia and Angelica, his wife Maggie; his stepdaughter Jessica; his three sisters Consuelo Martinez , Loretta Corrales, and Maria Luisa Alaniz; his four grandchildren, Esmeralda, Gabriela, Miranda, and Anthony; his step grandchildren, Jackson, Mia, Sophia, and Adrian; and his five great-grandchildren, Brianna, Isiah, Angel, Sophia and Isaac; his dogs Grumpy, Bella and Nala, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Tony was a devoted Oakland Raiders fan who looked forward to football season every year. He found joy driving regularly to Las Vegas to place his sports bets, enjoying the buffets, and the night life with his wife. He enjoyed staying active by exercising and taking daily walks, and he had a special love for his dogs, who were treasured companions. He found joy in life’s simple moments, especially those spent with the people and pets he loved most.
He will be remembered for the laughter he shared, the love he gave so freely, and the unwavering support he provided to his family. Tony had a way of bringing people together, and his presence made every gathering brighter. The memories he created and the love he gave will remain in our hearts forever.
Although his life was taken far too soon, the impact he made on his family and friends will never fade. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. May he rest in eternal peace.
