It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Antonio "Uncle Tony" Quinteros, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Uncle Tony was a man of unwavering faith, and his strength and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Glen Abbey Chapel of the Roses, located at 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. His urn will be present as we gather to celebrate his memory. Following the service, Uncle Tony will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery, located at 5795 Nobel Dr San Diego, CA 92122 where he will receive military honors from the United States Navy.
Uncle Tony wasn't one to pause when it came to showing love and kindness. He lived by the simple truth that the most powerful thing we can do is be kind. Whether it was a smile to a stranger, a helping hand to a neighbor, or a kind word when someone was down. He showed us that every day is an opportunity for growth, connection, and joy. Through his example, we learned that the most meaningful way to live is to embrace life fully, be kind without hesitation, and remember that every person we meet is part of the shared journey that makes life so precious.
We invite all family and friends to join us in remembering and honoring the life of an incredible man who touched our hearts and lives. May he rest in peace.
Uncle Tony is survived by his wife, Leticia (Lety) Quinteros; his daughter Susie Quinteros (David Henderson); his daughter Veronica (Roni) Cox (Chandler Cox); and his son David Ornelas (Loupa Ornelas); his brother Ralph Quinteros (Sandy Quinteros) and his sister Margaret Ramirez (Paul Ramirez).
