Anunciacion M Calderon

Anunciacion M. Calderon (known to close loved one as Sioning or Annie), the beloved matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Known for her infectious joy, cheerful spirit, and a heart completely dedicated to her family, Anunciacion lived a long, beautiful life defined by love, faith, and laughter.

Born and raised in Samar, Visaya, Philippines, on April 4, 1936, Anunciacion possessed a lifelong sense of adventure. In her youth, she loved to travel, exploring new places with an open mind and a happy-go-lucky attitude. In 1988, she crossed the Pacific to the United States, arriving in San Diego to move in with her family and bringing her vibrant energy right into the center of their home.

Anunciacion was a devout Catholic whose deep faith guided her, but she also knew how to bring celebration into the everyday. She loved to dance, and her bright, cheerful presence could light up any room. Above all, her greatest passion was her family. By sharing a home with her children, she became an indispensable part of their daily lives, spending her days watching, babysitting, and helping to raise her grandchildren, leaving them with priceless memories of a grandmother who was always present, loving, and full of life.

She is now peacefully reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Antonio Calderon, and her first-born son, Graciano Calderon, who passed away as an infant.

Anunciacion’s vibrant legacy lives on through the family she adored. She is survived by her 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her joyful spirit and love for life forward.

A celebration of Anunciacion's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.

Visitation will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on July 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on July 11, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on July 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
