

Arman Rodiel Wiley was 55 years old and lived in Eastlake Chula Vista, California. He passed peacefully on Friday September 11, 2026. Born February 6, 1971, in the Philippines, his younger years found him residing in Yokosuka Japan and Subic Bay Philippines as a military dependent. He graduated Class of 1990 from George Dewey High School (GDHS) - the Admirals.
He was a Corpsman in the U.S. Navy having entered on duty in June of 1991 until his honorable discharge in December of 1994. He participated in the U.S. Military Campaigns in Kuwait and Somalia. He was awarded Sailor of the Quarter, Meritorious Mast, National Defense and Southwest Asia Service Medals, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He Attended San Diego State University and earned a BA in Business Administration in 2000. This led to a 25-year career as an auditor with the California Environmental Protection Agency – CalRecycle Program. He also had a brief tenure with the Department of Insurance as an investigator. His business and analytical acumen resulted in criminal prosecutions and saved the State millions of dollars in potential fraud. He retired in October 2025.
He played football and wrestled at GDHS in Subic Bay. His love of sports continued in adulthood as he often watched baseball and football games. He often talked about and looked forward to his mom returning from the Philippines. While he also enjoyed the casinos, his true joy is caring for and being with his daughter Alex.
He is survived by his daughter Alexis Rae Sanoy Wiley, mother Salvacion Wiley, brother Alberto Wiley, sister Edelyn De La Cruz. Family includes Auntie Tess Overby and family, Auntie Beth Hunter and family, Uncle Bhot Rodiel and family, Uncle Rudy Rodiel and family, Uncle Bobby Rodiel, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held at the Glenn Abbey Magnolia Room in Bonita California on October 16, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. Funeral and Committal will be held on Monday October 19, 2026, at Glenn Abbey Magnolia Room at 11:00 a.m. followed by services at the Miramar National Cemetery.
