I can not believe it has been 4 years!  I miss our lengthy talks in the bowling center or sea stories from years past!

   Rita and I are going to miss you!  Our love of bowling, coaching and competing has bonded our friendship for more than two decades.  Our fondness of "sea stories" also bonded our past and contributed to many of those tales and shared adventures from our past.
   We will miss seeing on the lanes and the various tournament sites that we frequently visited together.  Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate!  I will see you on the other side

I have only known Arthur for ten years but discovered that our families go all the way back to Washington, Louisiana in the 1800’s and we are probably related; it just made a good friendship even better.  To Shawn and the rest of his heirs I wish nothing but the best.  And I am going to miss the advice of my bowling coach.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace that you seek. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences. It means alot cause he has been my bowling coach was about 8 years. I can't cause I found out he died of cancer, so did my grandpa whom he was very close to. My grandpa Robert Gagnon, and Author Jones were close friends. I remember seeing them laugh together, cry together, just making good memories. I have no other words to say besides, Rest In Peace Coach Jones 🙏🙏🙏. Fly high 🕊️🕊️

I will dearly miss Arthur's presence.  He was more than a neighbor...he was a great friend.  I will miss his sweet potato pies, his homemade BBQ sauce, and most of all, his stories.  I will never ever EVER forget Arthur.  I feel blessed to have known such a great and humble man.  Heaven has truly gained an angel.  

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Jones Family.  Arthur and I grew up together and attended the same high school in Houston, Texas.  Although small in stature, Arthur was a fierce competitor on the basketball court and didn't mind mixing it up.  He had that same competitive nature for bowling and didn't care much for losing, but his friendly personality and willingness to assist others in any capacity earned him many friends in the bowling community.  Arthur's cheerful attitude and quick smile will be missed by those who knew him well.

As a kid, you were always playing music.  No matter if it was a party or just a regular weekend. I will always remember running around the house with Monique and seeing you standing up under the stairs. We were never allowed to touch your stereo, it was just about the only thing in the house we couldn't touch. You would stand there and take your time in choosing what you wanted to listen to. Uncle Jones, you are one of the reasons I have a love for music now .  Well, music and Volkswagen beetles❤. Those memories of you will always make me smile.  Rest in peace Uncle.

Jones was one of the first neighbors we met when we moved into our new home in San Diego.  He was always kind and friendly to us. He has left hehind a wonderful family that would make any father proud.  I am certain that he will live on through their memories of him. 
My prayers for comfort and love to surround his family as they grieve his loss. 

Going to miss you my friend. Had great time bowling together, also so proud the way you raise Sean becoming a great young man. My deep sympathy goes to your family. You was a great man and I'm happy to known you and becoming your friend. Rest well my friend.
