

Arturo Fajardo Ocampo, 82, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, in San Diego, California. Born on May 27, 1942, in Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines, Arturo led a life defined by honor, dedication, and love for family.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Arturo served his country with distinction for 20 years, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. During his active duty, he was awarded numerous honors including the National Defense Service Medal, the Fifth Good Conduct Award, the Navy “E” Ribbon, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with three Bronze Stars, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
After retiring from the Navy, Arturo enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid tennis player and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. His warmth and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Arturo is survived by his loving daughters, Maria Ocampo and Elaine Ocampo Oxina, and his son-in-law, Nathaniel Oxina. He leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Caeden, Elissa, and Ethan Oxina.
