I miss you so much!  I just realized that your birthday was this week.
I wish you a Happy Birthday!  I can hear you laughing with my mom as you blow out your candles.

You are always giving us a Big Surprise, even when you go. We can't believe you are not with us anymore.  We will always remember our time we shared with you when we visited you and family in San Diego.  Will always remember your kind heart.  I always joke that we will definitely there in San Diego for your wedding day. We even chat in Facebook about it.

I will always remember Audrey's cheerful smile, the wonderful care and attention to she took in caring for her patients, co-workers, and family.  It's impossible to remember her without a smile! I am glad to be your friend for the past 19 years. Although we reconnected only the past 3 years or so, it was almost like we picked up where we left off.  I still have your birthday gift that you gave me back in Sept. 1992, I still love and wear that shirt today.  Your homies, Rick, John, and Sandra, Vince, as well as myself, my wife Allen and all your friends and family will miss you dearly.  Its a consensus that we all will miss your laugh and generosity, among other things.  I'm still in shock of your passing, but I know that you are indeed in a better place now.  Until we see each other again, may you rest in peace my old friend...

To my cousin Audrey,

I am still numb from your unexpected departure. Although miles apart, we still joked with each other through the internet!! We didn't need to be face to face to enjoy each other's company, but it would have made it that much more fun if we were. I still remember the fun time we had at Knotts Berry Farm amusement park when we were on vacation many years ago. It goes to show how your legacy will never die. I remember it like it was yesterday.

We had many conversations about when you were going to visit us in Miami, Florida, but I guess God had other plans for you. HE must have needed some help up there, since HE took you away so soon. Maybe your Uncle George is trying to take over, huh! LOL! Say hi to him for us!!

The early morning before your departure, we had a brief chat and when I heard the news later that day, I could not believe it...I just stared at your last comment on my computer for hours. I was not sure if I was crying from your funny comment or realizing that I was probably reading the last words from God's newest angel.

Ate Audrey, keep 'em in line up there and always keep them laughing like you usually do. I love you!!

My Dear Audrey, 

I have known you since... forever.  We grew up together off and on through our lives.  From the days of kindergarten in Coronado to our high school graduation at Montgomery.  Though we didn't see each other often after high school, when we did cross paths, it's as if we never missed a beat.  You punching me on the arm, then giving each other hugs. As if we were little kids back in kindergarten.  

I will never forget you Miss Audrey, especially your kindred spirit and infectious laughter.  I can still hear you now, laughing at my brash sense of humor!  

When I saw you last month at my mother's wake, you mentioned to me how we only saw each other at funerals nowadays.  But, I never thought in wildest dreams that we would be laying you to rest.  Too soon my friend, you were taken from us to soon... 

Now that you have gone to the Lord, may you rest in eternal peace...  But once and awhile, belt out one of your unforgettable laughs.  I'll be waiting and listening.  I miss you my life long friend...  Til we see each other again...

Audrey I only knew you for a short time but it felt more like a lifetime! I will cherish all our memories we shared! So many that were filled with laughter. The Lord needed you to come home now. May your smile from up above brighten up our cloudy days (even though cloudy days were your favorite). I will never forget your kind heart and friendship. Love you and miss you Audrey. We will see each other again and we can do the cupid shuffle!
