Benjamina Mayor Merza, who was at the age of 97 when she passed away in the city of San Diego, California on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Benjamina was born in the Philippines on November 7, 1927, to Juan Mayor and Dionisia Mayor, of the Philippines. Benjamina is predeceased by her husband, Michael Merza and her son. Benjamina is survived by her five children, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
A visitation for Benjamina will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Orchid Pavilion located on the west entrance of Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Roses and a committal service will follow from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A reception will occur Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the Magnolia Room located on the east entrance of Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
