Bhobbie Luisa Sanchez, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 4, 1968, in the Philippines, Bhobbie later made her home in San Diego, California, where she built a life filled with warmth, generosity, and unforgettable meals.
Bhobbie worked in accounts and finance and also poured her talent and heart into catering, sharing her gift for food with everyone around her. She was known as an excellent cook who always had something delicious ready, whether for a simple family gathering or a special celebration.
She loved cooking, traveling, discovering new places, and spending time with family. Bhobbie especially loved children and was rarely without a camera or phone in hand, capturing memories and living up to her reputation as the “selfie queen.” Her joy in taking pictures was matched only by her joy in making others feel welcome and cared for.
Those who knew Bhobbie remember her as loving, very reliable, and a super friend to everyone. She worried about everyone she cared about and was always ready to help anyone in need, never hesitating to put others first. Deeply family oriented, she filled her home and the lives of those around her with good food, laughter, and a sense of belonging.
Bhobbie’s legacy lives on in the recipes she shared, the photos she took, the trips she cherished, and the countless acts of kindness she quietly offered. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her
