Billy Lee Grant

On February 3, 2025, Billy Lee Grant was called upon the Lord to come home. Billy was born in San Diego, Ca on October 2, 1953. Billy is the son of the late Ella Mae Chase and Willie Grant. Billy was preceded in death by sister Shirley Freeman-Evans, sister Janice Grant, brother Burt Grant, Granddaughter Loise Danisha Nichole Howard. Billy is survived by his 7 children Vanessa, Sharon, Dorothy, Shirlynn, Billy Jr, Andrea, Bryan.; twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren.; Siblings Howard chase San Francisco CA, Blondnita Ferrebee Riverdale GA , Steve Grant, Gloria Chase, Randy Moon all of San Diego CA, David Scott, Escondido CA.

Billy received his formal education from San Diego High School. Billy was an avid Drywaller and Painter, loved fishing, working on cars, watching football, and helping family and friends with fixing things around their homes.

He loved listening to old school music and watching old western tv shows and movies. Billy was a devoted father to all of his children. He never allowed a conversation or text to end without saying "love you". He will be forever loved and missed dearly by his loving family and friends.

Services for Billy will be held on Wednesday, March 5th. At 1 pm the funeral service will take place in the Magnolia Room. Immediately following the services in the Magnolia Room, we will lay Billy to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
