She married the love of her life, Conrado C. Carolino, Sr. (also known as Conring), and never left his side for 57 years. They built their home in Awile, Anda, Pangasinan in the Philippines where they raised their four children and instilled the importance and value of hard work, education, and sacrifice. She served as a 2nd grade teacher at the Awile Elementary School where she taught many children for 31 years until she moved to the United States. Along with her husband, she helped raise and care for her son Alex's children as he worked to establish his life in America.
She enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and keeping up with news in the Philippines. Her most favorite activity was spending time loving and thinking about all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Her family cherishes their memory of Caridad as a loving, kind, and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family will use her life as an example of how to be a loving partner, a patient mother, and the best grandparent a child could ask for.
