

Carlos Rodriguez Ferreira celebrated his 88th birthday surrounded by his family. As the new day began, he passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Connie and eldest granddaughter by his side in his home just as he wanted.
He was born in Puntarenas, Costa Rica on January 21st 1930.
He joined the Air Force and was stationed at March Air Force base where he met Connie at a dance. They married in June 1953 and had a son at every Air Force base he was stationed at.
He served as a Tech Sargent and Instructor where he trained Latin American students working on repairing military aircrafts.
He retired after 21 years in 1969. He also served 10 years in the Civil Service.
He is survived by love of his life, Connie of 65 years, sister Jeanne, his sons, Danny, Carl, Frank, and Paul, his grandchildren Rachel, Frank Brian Jr., Vanessa, Dennise, Lynnette, Angelica, Alexander, and Jacob, and three great grandchildren, Anthony, Frank Brian III, and Jovanni.
He was a perfect example of what every man should be. He was a devoted husband, loving father and role model for all. His humor and love will never be forgotten.
Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Carlos Rodriguez Ferreira was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Carlos will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
