Carnell Williams

Carnell accepted Christ at an early age and was Baptized by her Father, Rev. Zebedee (Z.D.) Hart at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church in Old Warrington, Florida. She continued her Christian Walk until God called her to her Heavenly Home.

Carnell received her Education in the Old Warrington School System and Graduated from Washington High School in 1953.

Carnell later met, First Class Petty Officer, Eddie Williams who was stationed at NAS Pensacola. Carnell Hart and Eddie Williams were married on August 10, 1954. To this Union, after eight pregnancies, they were blessed with one Son, Eddie Williams Jr. born on March 3, 1964.

Carnell attended many churches during tours of duty with her husband. Upon being transferred from NAS Lemoore to San Diego, she joined Linda Vista Second Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until the family moved to Chula Vista. She joined Macedonia Baptist Church under the Late Pastor Bennett. She was a member of the Mother Board and served faithfully. She had a special gift and her radiant smile, love for people, and genuine servant heart made her perfect for a task she loved, reading the Church Announcements and welcoming First Time Visitors.

Carnell held three jobs: She worked in Sales at JC Penny, Fashion Valley,: Cashier at the 32nd Street Commissary and in Civil Service from which she retired.

Her hobbies were collecting Angels and Clowns. She also enjoyed playing games on her phone, spending time with family and friends and fellowshipping with her special group of friends over food after church.

Carnell was preceded in death by her parents. Rev. Zebedee(Z.D.) Hart and Birdie Givens Hart. Siblings: Mrs. Velma Wicker, Mrs Gladyessee Davis, Miss Hilda Hart, Mr Charlie Hart, Mr. Z.D. Hart Je., Mr. William Hart and Mr Emanuel Hart and Niece, La Barbara Somerville.

She leaves to cherish her Memory: One Son, Eddie Williams Jr. (Elizabeth) National City, CA. Four Grandchildren: Sierra Jordan (Alex) Chula Vista, CA; Robert Hook, Casa Grande, AZ; Izabella Williams, Chula Vista, CA and Serina Williams, National City, CA. Five Great Grandchildren whom she loved and who were the joy of her life; Jeremy, Aleina, Ava, Alijah and Ace.; One Goddaughter, Wardine Cullens, Atlanta. GA.

One Sister/Friend, Mattie Perine (Deacon Lenzy, whom she claimed as her Brother). Cousins: Nora Denson and Family, Rev. . Reginal Williams, Minister Connie Williams Clark and Family.

Special Friends: Mother Alice Bridges; Deaconess Colonial Baskins; Lou Humphrey, Rev. George Booze; William and Mechelle Hardy. Additionally, Carnell leaves to cherish her memory a numerous to list.
